Memorial Biography

Elizabeth Ann Foster was reunited in Heaven with many loved ones on January 28th, 2022. Even at 77 years old, it felt too soon to us, but Heaven was just too great to wait for even one more day. Ann was born November 29th, 1944 in Hemphill, Texas to Red and Buncy McDonald. Ann attended Mansfield High School, was married for eight years, with two children. She had an abundant career finally retiring from VECTA after 40 amazing years. Ann and Donnie were married in 1976 and were parted by death after almost forty years together. Ann’s true love was her family. She lived out the motto of “the more the merrier” in everything she did, her door was always open and there was always an extra chair at the table. She also loved traveling, gardening, gambling, crafting, sewing and made the best fudge, German chocolate cake, fried chicken, and sweet tea in the history of the world. She truly made everything beautiful. Ann will be missed by Radonna Kemper (daughter) and her husband Kurt, Terry Brooks (son) and his wife Trudi, Melinda Farrar (daughter) and her husband Mark, Stephanie Williams (daughter) and her husband Todd, along with a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends. A celebration of life will be held February 5th, 2022 at 3:30 at First Baptist Church Kennedale, 309 North Kenney Street, Kennedale, TX 76060. There will be a time of fellowship following the service. Flowers may be sent to this address to arrive Saturday the 5th at or after 10:00 a.m.
